Nearly 2,000 IBS patients surveyed in 2007 by the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders reported that diagnosis of their IBS was typically made 6.6 years after the symptoms began.

This would indicate that IBS
is a common yet puzzling
medical diagnosis.

IBS Therapies
Emotional Balancing

At the Calgary Centre for Irritable Bowel Syndrome we offer a comprehensive approach with proven therapies that address the cause of the digestive issues. This approach to IBS includes a treatment plan that addresses all levels of health in order to achieve total physiological healing.

Emotional balancing can be addressed with the Viscero-Emotional technique and/or the Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), as both can resolve health issues that have an emotional component. These techniques re-establish the normal physiology in specific organ systems caused by negative emotions.

Viscero-Emotional Technique

Different Emotions affect different organs. When the brain receives negative emotions it sends tension to the related organ, the organ then sends tension back to the brain resulting in a vicious cycle.

On the contrary, a physically damaged or imbalanced organ can stimulate emotional upset.

Viscero-Emotional Technique can break this cycle, enhance the health of the organ and restore emotional balance.

Neuro-Emotional Technique

NET is a safe, effective and natural way to instantly resolve long-standing health problems that have an emotional component. Emotional patterns are stored in the body, therefore long-standing negatively-charged emotional patterns can often deplete or weaken affected tissues.

The practitioner finds stuck, negatively charged emotions stored in the body and help the patient to release them. This technique allows us to find and balance stuck unconscious memory loops and help the body to release the unresolved emotion linked to the event.
